Someone upload Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford to Youtube
For crying out loud, every newspaper article has mentioned it. It was one of the funniest series of Saturday Night Live skits ever - and historic in that it was the first SNL imitation of a president.
So someone please upload the SNL skits of Chevy Chase playing Gerald Ford to Youtube. Or SNL, put it up on your website.
Or better yet, Comedy Central, stop showing that godawful show "Scrubs" and instead just play SNL shows from 1975 and 1976 with said skits. This is old media's chance to show up those punks in the new media!
I checked both Youtube and Google video, and no dice. I did find a 1996 clip of Dana Carvey playing Tom Brokaw, doing some canned "just in case" clips announcing the death of Gerald Ford.
Pretty funny, but it's no Chevy Chase tearing down a Christmas tree.
