Latvians in Ireland

The Washington Post has a great piece on EU labor immigration.

Like the Irish who came to America, now Latvians and Lithuanians are traveling to Ireland for a decent wage. Former Soviet soldiers, some.

Packing up a few things, leaving the rest behind, all for a place where you don't even speak the language? That's tough for native-born Americans to imagine. Tough for most Western Europeans to imagine, I suppose.
