China reaffirms 'no first strike'

China says that it won't use nuclear weapons first, but I wonder if that would change if they were attacked with conventional weapons, which might happen if they attack Taiwan. Might, but probably not, of course.

And they would justify it by saying, "Our enemy's conventional weapons are far superior to ours, so we had to up the ante."

It's possible, but again, probably not.
